Encore has developed a robust, low-cost software stack on Freescale's reference hardware platform based on MCF52234 processor. This hardware and software combination enables a product designer to quickly assemble a single channel ATA or an IP Phone product. The solution does not use any memory-intensive OS, thereby reducing the cost appreciably.
