Encore’s V.22/V.22bis modem implementation is ITU-T V.22/V.32bis compatible and is highly optimized, efficient and field proven solution. The V.22/V.22bis modem is a full duplex data modem for data communication over PSTN. The V.22/V.22bis modem supports bit rates of 1200bps and 2400bps.

• Adheres to all the mandatory features of ITU-T V.22/V.22bis Standard.
• Supports all other V- Series modulation modes including V.21, V.23.
• Channel separation by frequency division.
• Employs QAM at 600 bauds per second.
• Support for both V.8 and Non-V.8 procedures during mode startup procedure for modulation modem selection.
• Tested against various impairment combinations using Telephone Network Emulator (TAS).
• Currently V.22/V.22bis Modem is available on TI’s TMS320C64x, TMS320C62x, TMS320C54x and Microchip’s dsPIC and ARM9 platforms.
