Encore’s V.27bis modem implements ITU-T V.27bis which operates at 2400bps/4800bps on 4-wire leased point-to-point and multipoint circuits and also on 2-wire leased circuits.

• Adheres to all the mandatory features of ITU-T V.27bis Standard.
• Operates in a full-duplex or half-duplex mode over 4-wire leased circuits or in a half-duplex mode over 2-wire leased circuits.
• Modulation is 8-phase differentially encoded at 4800bps.
• Modulation is 4-phase differentially encoded at 2400bps.
• Synchronous mode of operation.
• Tested against various impairment combinations using Telephone Network Emulator (TAS).
• Currently ITU-T V.27bis Modem is available on TMS320C54x platform.
