The Encore’s CPT module implements the generalized call progress tone generation and detection. The module supports the generation and detection of all tones specified in E.180 standard. The tone generation module supports the generation of any tone within the voice band frequency (<4000 Hz) with any cadence. The tone detection module supports the detection of any call progress tone within the call progress tone band (200 – 600Hz) and cadence.
